Dear Brothers & Sisters:
For us Catholics, the month of May is known as the Month of Mary. There is so much to look forward to during this month, so don’t let the extension of the Shelter-in-Place for another 31 days get you down.
May starts off with a few big celebrations. On May 1st we celebrate St. Joseph the worker and what better person to ask to intercede to end this pandemic and to pray for all those who have lost their jobs due to this pandemic.
On May 1st the United States was re-consecrated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, as well as our Diocese and our beloved Parish St. Nicholas & St. William. Pope Francis is asking all Catholics to pray the Rosary every day during the month of Mary asking for her intercession to end this Pandemic.

This Sunday, May 3rd is known as Good Shepherd Sunday, where we traditionally pray for vocations to the priesthood and Religious life.
As well, the following Sunday, May 10th is Mother’s Day, a time to show our gratitude and love to our Mothers through our prayers, visits, phone calls and Mother’s Day cards.
Let’s be sure to stay connected spiritually to God and with one another through the most powerful prayer we can possibly pray, the Holy Mass, which is livestreamed every Sunday at 10:00 AM and recorded for your convenience, as is Daily Mass.
