We are made in imago Dei — the “image of God.” This is why, no matter how fortunate and wealthy we become in a material sense, we still yearn for more. As St. Augustine says so eloquently: “You have made us for Yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.”
If you feel safe, please do not stay away from the “Supersubstantial Bread” that feeds the imago Dei within.
