Catholic Schools Week

Dear Parishioners of St. Nicholas & St. William Catholic Parish,

Today marks the kickoff of Catholic Schools Week; a time to celebrate the work that is happening across all 27 Catholic elementary schools in the Diocese of San Jose, the thousands around the country, as well as in our own St. Nicholas Catholic School.

Our mission is to be at the forefront of all that we do: Faith, Excellence, and Service. The theme encompasses the core values that can be found in Catholic schools across the nation. Not only are we teaching students to become future servant leaders, faith-filled disciples and enriched citizens in our communities, our educators are also growing with them. In Catholic schools, we are all learners, servants,
and leaders. This shared quality is what makes our schools thrive.

Academic excellence is a hallmark of Catholic education. Throughout the pandemic, it has never been more evident of what sets our schools apart from others. Our students have continued to experience great learning gains over the past few years. Our students are prepared and ready for their high school environments. We are very proud of our reputation of excellence and we will never rest on developing
the best programs for our students.

We welcome new parishioner families to find out more about our school and to know we support any family who desires a Catholic education and community.

Community is the number one reason families join our school. Community happens when there is synergy between our mission and the people that surround us. Teachers, staff, clergy, parents, parishioners, and students all come together for a higher purpose.

Catholic Schools Week is a time to stop and say thank you to all who make our school a place where we shepherd the new generations of young people to become our future leaders.

Thank you to our parishioners for your continued prayers, resources, and support. Your impact cannot be measured today or tomorrow, but it will be felt for years to come. We are the proud and grateful school of St. Nicholas & St. William Catholic Parish.

Warm Regards,
Jan Popolizio, Principal
St. Nicholas Catholic School
