Children’s Faith Formation (1st – 5th)

Children’s Faith Formation (Grades 1st – 5th)

Faith Formation classes for children in 1st through 5th grade take place on Sunday morning from 10:05 to 11:05 am or Monday evenings from 6:00pm-7:00pm online for now and normally in St. William Hall.

Children’s Faith Formation is led by Adult Catechists and taught using the  Finding God curriculum by Loyola Press.  Finding God is based on a spiritual curriculum that integrates fundamental themes of the Catholic Church as well as scripture, prayer and social teachings.

Each class offers opportunities for children to encounter, talk about, and follow Jesus.  We use Guided Reflections, Prayer and Multi-sensory learning e.g. art prints, music, poetry and videos to provide an engaging learning environment.

Classes are available on either Sunday mornings from 10:05 to 11:05 am or on Mondays from 6 to 7 pm.

We are still in need of catechists.  If you are interested in learning more about this role, please contact Catherine Campbell at or call 650-948-2158 ext. 2209.

2020 Pandemic Note

Our county and diocese are providing us guidance for in-person classes/sessions.  We continue to follow these guidelines and will update you to any changes needed throughout the year for our full in-person schedules, any need for a hybrid of in-person and distant learning options, or full distant learning options or homeschooling.  You will be able to share your family needs with us in the registration form.

Your families well being is of utmost importance to us.  We have missed seeing you all in person and look forward to a year of being physically distanced together as needed!
