Immaculée Ilibagiza is a Rwandan genocide survivor, author, and motivational speaker. Born in 1972 in Rwanda, she was a university student when the 1994 Rwandan Genocide began. During the 100-day massacre, she survived by hiding in a small bathroom with seven other women for 91 days. Tragically, most of her family members were killed during the genocide. Her memoir, “Left to Tell: Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust”, recounts her harrowing experiences and her journey of forgiveness and faith. Today, Immaculée advocates peace, reconciliation, and forgiveness, speaking globally to share her love, hope, and forgiveness message.
