WELCOME BACK!

The general dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass has concluded in the Diocese of San Jose as of March 6, 2022.

MASKS NOT REQUIRED, BUT ENCOURAGED:

Effective March 2, 2022, the County of Santa Clara Public Health Department announced that indoor masking will no longer be required, regardless of vaccination status. However, the Public Health Department and the California Department of Public Health strongly recommend that the public continue to wear masks in all indoor public spaces. Anyone who prefers to wear a mask may continue to do so.

Our Liturgical & Eucharistic ministers will continue to wear a mask when they are carrying out their ministry less than six (6) feet from another person. Doors and windows are to stay open to allow for maximum ventilation during indoor Masses and gatherings.

  • St. Nicholas Church is open for prayer 7:45am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.
  • Hand sanitizer is available at the main entrance for each Mass.
  • We continue to Livestream Mass for those at home.

Stay home if you feel sick, even if your symptoms are mild. If you are experiencing symptoms, or feel ill, please stay home to reduce your risk of catching or spreading illness.  Do not go to work, school, or public places.

You may keep the Lord’s Day holy from home: View our Livestream Masses and make Spiritual Communions. Personal and family prayer also offers opportunities for spiritual strength and comfort as does reading the Scriptures.
