Lenten Parish Mission

The Call to Holiness in Today’s World

 

March 1st, 2nd and 3rd

Monday, March 1, 2021: GAUDETE ET EXSULTATE  ~ Fr. Andrew will share some thoughts from Pope Francis on holiness from Gaudete et Exsultate.

Tuesday, March 2, 2021: THE YEAR OF SAINT JOSEPH  ~ Fr. Andrew will look at the holiness of St. Joseph (since it’s the year of St. Joseph) and see how his life can shape our own call to being holy men and women.

Wednesday, March 3, 2021: THE BEATITUDES  ~  We will explore the Beatitudes to help us discern ways in which we can be holy men and women in our state of life.

 

Morning & Evening Sessions each day:

Morning Sessions 8:30am – 9:00am
Abbreviated sessions ~ presented in person immediately following 8am daily Mass at St. Nicholas (no registration required)

Evening Sessions 7:00pm – 8:00pm
Full sessions ~ presented virtually via Zoom (registration required). A link will be emailed to registrants a few days before the sessions.

Keynote Speaker: Fr. Andrew Rodriguez, S.J.


Fr. Andrew has been helping to lead weekend retreats and provides spiritual direction in daily life at the Jesuit Retreat Center of Los Altos. He guides individuals in the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola throughout the year and in a 30-day retreat format in the summer. He also trains retreat guides in giving the Spiritual Exercises. Previously, he taught religious studies and psychology at Saint Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco, California.
