REGISTRATION 2024-2025 NOW OPEN
St. Nicholas & St. William Catholic Parish is committed to helping parents form their children for happy, successful, and faith-filled lives. To this end, we offer faith formation, youth ministry, and sacramental preparation programs for children in preschool through 12th grades to help them build a relationship with Christ and deepen their faith. We also offer summer retreats, a summer mission trip, and Vacation Bible Camp.
If you have 3 year olds to 5th graders, please register for our Faith Formation parent meeting & pancake breakfast on Sunday, August 25 at 10 am here.
If you have 6th to 12th graders, please register for the Youth Ministry Kickoff BBQ on Sunday, September 15 at 6:15 pm here.
We look forward to seeing your family at Our Masses each week. Children and Youth are also invited to take an active role at our monthly Children’s Mass (monthly from October to May at 9 am Mass) and Youth Mass (every Sunday night at 5 pm).
We encourage all of our parish families to also find some time at home to pray together each day (wake-up morning prayer, meals, and bedtime prayers) and encourage you to watch these weekly, 15-minute videos from Mark 10 Mission as a family each week. It is amazing how easily you can build your children's faith at home with just simple practices such as these.
We are always in need of volunteer catechists and adult leaders!
If you are interested in volunteering with Pre-K to 5th grade, please email Catherine Campbell or call 650-948-2158, ext. 2209.
If you are interested in volunteering with 6th to 12th grade, please email [email protected] or call 650-948-2158, ext. 2213.

Children’s Faith Formation is led by volunteer adult catechists and taught using the Finding God curriculum by Loyola Press. Finding God is based on a spiritual curriculum that integrates fundamental themes of the Catholic Church as well as scripture, prayer and social teachings.
Each class offers opportunities for children to encounter, talk about, and follow Jesus. We use guided reflections, prayer and multi-sensory resources, including art prints, music, poetry and videos, to provide an engaging learning environment.

All youth in 6th, 7th and 8th grades are invited to participate in our EDGE middle school program. This Catholic Youth Ministry program is led by our teen leaders and facilitated by volunteer adult catechists and usually meets in the Sr. E Teen Center at St. William Church.
EDGE provides a safe fun place for youth to experience Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith, and, most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way. We usually start with a communal snack which is provided each week by parents. The EDGE program is designed for the physical, psychological, cognitive, relational, and spiritual maturation of middle school youth.
Programs begin in September and the schedule is posted to the Parish Calendar.
If you have questions, or would like to volunteer in a program, please email Elise Abrahamson at [email protected]

theIntersection is a youth-led program, facilitated by a youth minister, that provides a safe place where teens can explore their faith, talk about life, ask questions and develop a community of Catholic friends. Everyone is welcome! The program leads teens into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through large group sessions, small group sessions, prayer, retreats and service.
When The Youth Mass is celebrated on Sunday evenings at 5:00 pm at St. William Church, our Teens are invited to serve as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Greeters, as well as participating in our Youth Choir and Band. You are invited to come sit with us!
The Teens meet in the Sr. E. Teen Center at 6:15pm for a communal meal which is provided each week by parents.

Our team is a combination of teens and adults who unite in their common mission to lead teens closer to Christ. CREW is a 1 year commitment starting in June and ending in May.
