St. Nicholas & St. William Catholic Parish is committed to helping parents form their children for happy, successful lives. To this end, we have faith formation and sacramental programs for children from first to 12th grade to help them build a relationship with Christ and to grow and deepen their faith. For more information on each program and to register, please go to the link for each program.
2020 Pandemic Note
Our county and diocese are providing us guidance for in-person classes/sessions. We continue to follow these guidelines and will update you to any changes needed throughout the year for our full in-person schedules, any need for a hybrid of in-person and distant learning options, or full distant learning options or homeschooling. You will be able to share your family needs with us in the registration form.
Your families well being is of utmost importance to us. We have missed seeing you all in person and look forward to a year of being physically distanced together as needed!

Sundays at 10:05 to 11:05 am or Mondays at 6 to 7 pm
Faith Formation classes for children in 1st through 5th grade take place on Sunday morning from 10:05 to 11:05 am or Monday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00pm in St. William Hall. The program runs from September through May.
Mondays at 5:30 to 7 pm
All youth in 6th, 7th and 8th grade are encouraged to participate in our Edge Middle School Ministry program. Edge is a Catholic middle school youth ministry program. It provides a safe fun place for youth to find solid Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith, and, most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way. Edge resources speak to the physical, psychological, cognitive, relational, and spiritual maturation of middle school youth. Edge meets on Monday evenings starting in September from 6 to 8 pm in the Sr. E Teen Center.
Sundays at 6 to 8:00 pm
As a Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church, “theIntersection” leads teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. All 9th through 12th grade students are welcome to join us Sunday nights from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the teen center at St. William September through May.
First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion (for baptized children) during the Faith Formation Class
The process to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion is a two-year process. Children must be in first year program to begin the process. Children cannot receive the Sacraments until they are in the second grade. During the second year, in addition to Faith Formation, families will be required to participate in parent meetings, retreats, and a rehearsal.
Confirmation (Catholic & public school students who have received baptism and First Holy Communion) Generally First Saturdays at 9 am
All 7th through 12th graders are eligible for Confirmation. To begin the process, register for EDGE or “theIntersection.” This program also includes one Saturday morning session once a month from September to May.
Sacraments for Children who have yet to Receive Other Sacraments
Generally Second Saturdays at 9 am
Based on your child’s age, we will integrate your child into a program for sacramental preparation.
