“theIntersection” Teen Program

“theIntersection” Teen Program (Grades 9th – 12th)

“theIntersection” is a youth led program, facilitated by a youth minister, that provides a safe place where young people can explore their faith, ask questions and develop a community of Catholic friends. Everyone is welcome!  The program leads teens into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through large group sessions, small group sessions, prayer, retreats and service.

When The Youth Mass is celebrated on Sunday evenings at 5:00 pm at St. William Church, our Teens are invited to serve as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Greeters, as well as participating in our Youth Choir and Band.  We will continue to follow the county and diocese’s guidelines for masses and look forward to when we can have our youth mass once again.

The Teens meet in the Sr. E. Teen Center at 6pm for a communal meal which is provided each week by parents (new guidelines will be provided shortly for all food service).  All 9th through 12th grade students are welcome to join us Sunday nights from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm online for now and normally in the Sr. E. Teen Center at St. William Church.  For more information, contact Anton Pham 650-948-2158 x2213.

Kickoff will be August 30, 7 to 8:30 pm, online details post registration

The first session will start in September.  A full schedule will be released shortly.

2020 Pandemic Note

Our county and diocese are providing us guidance for in-person classes/sessions.  We continue to follow these guidelines and will update you to any changes needed throughout the year for our full in-person schedules, any need for a hybrid of in-person and distant learning options, or full distant learning options or homeschooling.  You will be able to share your family needs with us in the registration form.

Your families well being is of utmost importance to us.  We have missed seeing you all in person and look forward to a year of being physically distanced together as needed!
